Students of the “Prikamye” school won four gold awards at the World Championship in kettlebell lifting.

Three athletes from the city sports school “Prikamye” performed successfully at the Championship and World Championship in kettlebell lifting in New Delhi (India). The national team included school students, namely  Ruslan Utev, Ilya Zuev, and Danil Sirazetdinov. In total, five athletes from the Perm Region represented Russia at the international competition.

Danil Sirazetdinov won among juniors in three disciplines — the long cycle, the jerk, and the snatch — and also became a silver medalist in the kettlebell clean and jerk among men. As a result of the competition, the athlete fulfilled the standard for the title of Master of Sports of International Class. Ilya Zuev won a gold award in the long cycle among juniors, and Ruslan Utev took silver in the clean and jerk among juniors. All athletes train under the guidance of Dmitry Moshev and Oleg Cheskis
